Hi, my name is Maddie, and I am a Veterinary Technician at Magnolia Animal Clinic.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy being outside with my daughter and her dogs, as well as gardening, painting, the beach, and bird watching. I have three dogs — Lilly, Levi, and Wrangler — and two cats, Ollie Lolly and Millie.
Favorite Part of My Job
I like to be in the surgery suite and enjoy cases that are very intense and like a puzzle to figure out. I enjoy dermatology and cytology of all kinds, and I really enjoy ultrasound. I also love talking and educating owners on care, diseases, and other topics.
Why I Chose This Profession
I have wanted to care for animals since I was a little girl. Being able to see them grow up from puppies to geriatrics is rewarding. I love seeing owners get their babies back after surgeries or being hospitalised, and both the pet and the owner are so happy to see one another. There is also the hard parts of the job — being someone's comfort zone, a shoulder to lean on, a hand to hold when needed. I will forever love their pets as my own.

I attended Lone Star College for my basics.
Work History
I fell in love with caring for animals at boarding facilities before joining Magnolia Animal Clinic in 2020.
