Hi, my name is Dr. Toups, and I am a veterinarian and co-owner of Magnolia Animal Clinic. I am the clinic's resident Cajun veterinarian — I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and moved to TX in 2013.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy baking custom cookies for family and friends. I also love Disney, and the parks are one of my favorite places to be. My husband and I have two children who keep us on our toes, along with a Silken Windhound named Dottie who is the perfect companion for our family.
Favorite Part of My Job
I enjoy developing relationships with my clients throughout the life of their pet. From the first puppy visit to the senior years, it is a privilege to be part of their journey. My clinical interests include preventive care and soft tissue surgery.
Why I Chose This Profession
I chose veterinary medicine because it combines two things I love: animals and science.
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I then completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.

I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA).
